Amaryllis
This flowering bulb blooms indoors during the winter months. If you receive one of these plants, keep the bulb, store it in a good dark place, and soon it will be ready to bloom again. You can plant one or plant various types together to create a unique display.
Cyclamen
One of the most commonly found festive houseplants, cyclamen, are known for their vibrant blooms and silvery foliage. Available in purpose, pink, white, and crimson blooms.
Paperwhites
Tall, fragrant flowers will make a wonderful addition to any room. You can buy them at garden centres or nestle bulbs in a dish with stones and some water.
Anthurium
Shiny dark green foliage with broad spathes flowers in red, yellow, pink, or green. This sun-loving plant thrives in high humidity.
White Jasmine
Brighten up the winter months with the fragranced, dainty white blooms of jasmine.
Norfolk Island Pine
This foliage favourite also makes a great Christmas tree! They need moderate light and consistent watering.
Christmas Cactus
Blooms of pink, red, orange, and coral flourish in the winter. This plant looks best in a hanging basket so that the segments can trail over the sides. They like lots of sunlight and do best with a dormant period.
